Today we’re continuing our work establishing our vegetable growing field for next year. By fall it should be made up of 24 50-foot beds.
Our goal is to transition to no-till after this, but unfortunately after decades of compaction back here we needed an initial till to work in some organic matter, minerals, and amendments. it was so compacted that not even our “beast” of a tiller could touch it. Thankfully we have incredible neighbors that came and disced it to make it workable.
